At Pathway to Choices - Pinole, we offer a Day Program from 9AM-3PM Mon-Fri. Our facility has a large, enclosed outdoor area for all kinds of fun activities. Clients like to play basketball and have lunch outside. We have a raised garden outside as well where clients can learn to care for plants!

Themed Classrooms

Our facility has 5 classrooms with different themes to host a wide variety of activities. In the Communication Room, Clients are encouraged to engage with the iPads, computers, or any of the curricular activities presented by their assigned Staff. The goal is for each individual to improve their communication skills, whether that means practicing writing skills, attending a themed Zoom class, or practicing navigating the internet. We also have a Multipurpose Room where clients can choose from a wide variety of fun activities, including corn hole, exercising on the treadmill, watching one of the movies from our huge DVD collection, playing board games, or even going outside and gardening or shooting some hoops!

We also have an Art Room where clients create all kinds of art projects based on a theme like the nearest holiday or something the client is passionate about. In our Music Room, clients can explore the world of music and musical instruments. In the Independence Room, clients can practice their reading, writing, and Language Arts skills, money counting, memory, and other skills that allow them to practice doing things independently.

iPads

Clients may request from their staff to use an iPad throughout the day for any number of fun activities! The most popular activities include Zoom, YouTube videos, and doing online classwork.
